Where did you come up with that particular pompous pack of . . . um , I must refrain from another p word there. Historically, Iraq was never much known as a terrorist sponsor. And in the last 10 years it showed all appearances of being fairly isolated within the Arab world, and fairly weak militarily. I'm sure there's many places in the PNAC literature where you could have cribbed crap like "The Ba'athist regime, however, is different, in that it has a quasi- fascist ideology committed to the hegemony of Iraq over the Arab world, and the ascension of the Arab world to world- wide hegemony . . . ", but the evidence supporting such babblage as indicative of any real threat to Iraq's neighbors, much less the US, is somewhat weaker than the WMD "evidence". Which would make it, by all indications, very weak indeed.
