Over on Les's thread he has a pointer to the BCA report. They expect capital spending to rise in the second half of the year. If so, I would think we would start to see some signs of it in the upcoming SEMI report on July 18th.

[snip]Our model of capital spending indicates that investment growth
will continue to trend higher during the second half of the year,
after a brief pause in the second quarter (Chart 7). The model
projects a slower-than-average recovery, but it should still be
sufficient to exceed current low expectations. In addition, the
model may yet climb further, with the manufacturing sector
finally reviving, according to the ISM survey, and the Fed
committed to a hyper-accommodative monetary policy for an
extended period. The bottom line is that capital spending looms
as a source of economic support over the second half of the
year and probably beyond.
