When I have some extra time, I will compare the two methods for QCOM over the last seven years huey, i will save you the time--actual ex post "expense" on an intrinsic value net return basis for QCOM over the past 7 years would have, imo, VASTLY exceeded what Black-Scholes ex ante expense calculated. this is a foregone conclusion since QCOM rose MANY MANY times over, and you only really need a single 100% gain to exceed the Black-Scholes value.
