You're an idiot, Bill. I've seen you pull this out of context crap any number of times. As Noel pointed out to you, what Mq actually wrote was, "Lindy, not all expressions travel well around the world. I don't think Uncle Frank should include me in a worldwide circle of friends rooting for him. You can speak for yourself." Google takes about 2 links to reveal the particular usage problem Mq was referring to, see the entry for "root" in psy.otago.ac.nz . It may not be the best of jokes, but it's a somewhat better joke than the locally popular one of conservatives looking for remarks to get all self-righteous about. Conservatives have so many things they are habitually self-righteous about, I have no idea why they constantly feel the need to pull more out of thin air.
