Interesting... The VIX on the daily chart closed at the lowest level (on the closing basis) since May of last year.

I am watching a line on the weekly VIX which connects the deepest lows since the summer of 1998. Presently, this line is passing through near 19 3/4, just about a point lower. (Today VIX closed right at an inner parallel trendline).

I have been waiting since April to see a test of these levels... the next few days will tell the story.
