Politics : Attack Iraq?

That book "Treason" has NO depth. I just picked it up off the remaindered, discount stack at B&N and read for a while.

A pure "rant" about "why don't the Liberals (and liberals is capitalized, as if some brand name) yah yah yah" or "if the United States did 'x', then why do people yowl about..". All blowhard stuff, with no reference, "pop culture" history... typical TV talking head garbage. A shrill defense of Bush with clever wording. Doesn't cut it.

Contrast that book with Kenneth Pollack's work, which is heavily footnoted, tons and TONS of references, with the predominate information about Iraq. Unlike "Treason", pros and cons of almost EVERY position (containment, etc.) and political strategy are laid out.

So if you want to get into "Democraps versus Repugnicans" I would say Treason is your book. However, I am interested in Iraq, as would be the idea behind this thread.
