So yes, I believe that anybody who is really pining for Saddam's return, not just mouthing off in frustration because it's hot and he doesn't have electricity yet, must have been a beneficiary of the regime, ergo, probably an apparatchik or at least a Tikriti or Sunni tribesman.

That's quite a long ways from having been an official in a murderous regime.
