I'm done posting for the good of these claims for the time being, but as to status I can certainly let you and the thread here know. The brokers filed motions to arbitrate. There are writs seeking reversal at the Court of Appeal. The others fought Cali jurisdiction. Those are now before the same Court.

In short, the defendants won round one completely on law and motion procedure, not the merits, which have yet to be heard. What that means is that basically the Court said all claims against the brokers are going to be arbitrated, and that California has no jurisdiction over the others. The Court did not make any judgments whether the case has merit or not. Now, round two is in progress. The writs were filed May 30. Opposition briefs were filed June 17. My first Appeal (Berber) was filed Monday. The Rea/TP appeal is due Wednesday. The replies are due 30 days after filing, then I respond. The writs are complete, that process, we're awaiting a judgment from Division 3.

I posted the Berber appeal on the thread. It shows why Cali jurisdiction is more than appropriate over Berber. I'll post the Rea appeal after I've filed it. Here is the post with the Berber appeal:

The other posts are documents before the memo containing the main arguments. For the thread probably the m,ost interesting of those would be the Statement of Facts and the Statement of the Case, because they discuss events and individuals with which many of you might be familiar.

All the Best,

Olivier
