The deliberate cover-up in progress is prima facie evidence that more than mere negligence was involved. If that were the case, a few scapegoats would have already been identified and fired. Instead we have the remarkable situation where some of the F.B.I. supervisors who hampered their own investigators in the spring and summer of 2001 have been given raises and promotions. This is a huge red flag. There's something terribly wrong with this. We need transparency. We need the government to work by, for and of the people. Not as with the secret government regime of today.
