Roberts is still playing partisan politics. Tenet is a Democrat, a holdover from the Clinton era. Thus, a very attractive target... <g>

I figured Tenet's past was what resulted in Tenet pulling the short straw. But it should be pretty clear to Powell how expendable everyone is. It's one thing for Tenet to "accept responsibility", it's another thing to sit there quietly and be accused of disloyalty. They can push Tenet far enough that he might just come to the conclusion that he's not going to take the entire blame. I hope they keep pounding away at him.
