I think we are waaay over on Subs now, and still building more. Disagree Bill, the Tomahawk is an awesome weapon. And the submarine force has been reduced significantly in the past 15 years. We haven't been building enough to replace the subs going into mothball. We need to build more. The advantage we have in undersea warfare capability is as great as our advantage in air-warfare, and we shouldn't lose either one. Subs are doing all kinds of things which supported the Iraq war and other endeavors around the world, they simply don't get any publicity.
