The Checkfree Universal Payments Network has a great deal of promise. Ebay will come online soon. Then, maybe Yahoo will want to keep up and sign on for auction payment services. The red Checkfree payment button could be very popular with online sellers of all types. Consider that any transaction done with Checkfree's button will be more profitable than any paid for by credit cards and I could see a lot of interest from Amazon, Land's End, JCPenney, etc...Looking back years hence, perhaps this year will be the inflection point.
