Brian, the PBS bio seemed pretty non-judgemental. It presented him in a true light, imo.

It seems apparent that his mission was from God to institute major reform. Luther was intolerant of anything that taught differently from his beliefs, just like any man with feet of clay.

This is a fine example of the power of the printed word.
