You just repeated the only arguments the RNC has against Kerry. Did you get ot off the RNC attack site? Let me respond.

1) Kerry always supported taking out Saddam, but only with a large coalition, the UN and a strong smart pot-war plan. He's been right from the start about all of that.

2) In 1972 (when Bush was going AWOL) Kerry was a Silver Star winning war hero who took the lead to organize Veterans against the war, to stop the war and save American lives. One of their most heart-wrenching demopnstrations was to give back their ribons and medals. John took part and threw a few of his ribbons over the fence, plus some othes for Vets who couldn't make it. It was a very effective event which helped bring the war to an end sooner and saved American lives. By then the Vietwar War was a hopeless morass, 10 times worse than Iraq Today. John did the right thing on both counts, fighting for his country in 1967 and demonstration against the war in 1972.

3) Kennedy and Massacusetts connections? So what? Kerry is his own man now. He is not a Kennedy surrogate. But Kennedy has endorsed him. Kerry is moving more to the center now to represent all Americans and not just the more liberal Massachusetts voters. And notice Bush embracing Kennedy lately to try and give him legitimacy on health and education issues. Kennedy is the leader on health care and education. He's also a rich man who doesn't mind paying his taxes.

Frankly, the RNC has nothong on Kerry that will mean anything to anyone but their right-wing base who think we ought to still be fighting in Vietnam. But Kerry's no hypocrite. His stance on Iraq has never changed. Read it and you'll realize the "waffling" charge is nonsense.
