[BTW, what’s the Iris (Poindexter) of Sauron’s eye doing these days?] The way this (taking a “fall” for the “big guy”) keeps happening in Repub admins (Nixon, Reagan and Bush), you wonder if the Republican National Committee has a special training seminar? If the matter is “closed”, too bad. Back when the forgeries were first reveled, I said this could be big. It wasn’t that I thought the forgeries could bring down Bush, but, like Watergate, a cover-up involving the President could. Whether it ever “comes out” or not, having engaged (or been aware of) a cover-up, leaves the President vulnerable. An important vulnerability? We’ll see. Meanwhile, how about a Dylan duet?
