Nadine, the US is the last best hope for democracy. That democracy works the way it is in the US is because of its people. The American people gives the President a full 4 year term. In times when there is a war on terrorism going on, the people gave this President all he wanted. Now in the next 12 to 15 months, it is time for reckoning. And you will see the string of news that comes from Washington DC about manipulation, lies and deceit that went on in Washington since Bush entered office. YOu talk about the past, I am talking about the future. Is there really a connection between Al Qaeda and Saddam? Said who? Did Saddam have WMD? Where are they? Why does it take so long? We were made to believe that not only was the WH certain about the WMD, but they knew ehere they were. We are winning the war on terrorism? Where is Saddam and Osama? Forget them. Let us talk about a smaller figure. Mullah Omar of Afghanistan. Where is he? Where is the success? And lastly Nadine, that phrase which even resonates today: It is the economy, stupid.
