You mention persecution of Shiites, what does that have to do with Al Qaeda? They are a Sunni extremist group. The growth of Sunni fundamentalism was probably due, in large part, to counter Iran's Shiite revolutionary goals. In previous posts, I have given you information and links tying Iraq with Abu Sayyaf. I've given you information and links showing that Abu Sayyaf was founded and supported with help from Al Qaeda. I've given you information and links showing that Abu Sayyaf have recently reaffirmed their fundamentalist mission....Maybe I was writing to another person using the pen name "American Spirit".
