Now Hawkmoon, I hope you can appreciate the fact that this was something that happened in April. I will research it and hopefully find reference to it (help me Google). But if I do not succeed, it does not mean that I am out here to spread lies and false stories.

Regarding why Rumsfeld should seek the President's approval when the President had given a blanket order to go after Saddam. I don't know but Rumsfeld,like his advisors, felt so. That is why he had to put on hold his earlier order till he got the President's OK.
