Abu Sayyaf was founded by individuals picked by Ossama bin Laden's Brother in-law while he was in the Philippines. Leaders of Abu Sayyaf have stated - to journalists- that they were offered a bounty to kill Americans from Iraq. The organization, now claims that its mission is jihad against the United States, and its citizens - sound familiar?

The CIA isn't perfect. They made a mistakes during the Clinton Administration, too - with the same CIA Director.
The CIA made a mistake, and the result was that the Chinese Embassy in Yugoslavia was bombed. They made a mistake in the Sudan, and thought that WMDs were being produced, and the result, the only pharmaceutical plant in the country was bombed and destroyed. You seem to demand and expect perfection from the Bush Administration, while ignoring similar mistakes from previous Administrations.
