Does this whole WiFi vs EV DO thing remind anyone of the "Convergence" debate that has been going on for years. You know combining TV and Computer Network and Phone etc from a single source and now we add wireless to the mix? In that time no single standard communication "pipe" has ever evolved. They seem to be growth for lots of delivery systems and mixes. Can it be that WiFi and WCDMA/CDMA EV DO will be complimentary/competitive technologies that stimulate more people to go wireless and spur the wireless data market even more? Dan D.
