Overall the emphasis is towards peace and not war, from Kashmir to Palestine to Iraq who could have imagined that so much of co-ordinated efforts will yield results in nearly all the possible dangerous flash points. Lingering disputes of centuries and decades are now moving towards some kind of reconciliation. No easy fixes for long term disputes but things are steadily moving in the right direction, 65% Shiites of Iraq gets proportionate numerical representation in the first ever appointed council of Iraq, what was termed as war against Islam has now given voice to poverty stricken unrepresented majority of Iraq. The wind of change will definitely impact all regions, a proactive policy is yielding good results, the road is tortuous but future looks bright.
