I remember Aug 12, 1982.
I was talking to a broker in San Francisco, Ca.
He was telling me that the bottom was in and he had
no calls from retail customers.
Later I learned Mer, etc covered their shorts and the
long bull market started.

Are you telling me that Bob Brinker issued a buy on
Aug 12, 1982 ???
