Very interesting. I have no doubt about the U.S. attempting to interfere for its own purposes in the war. I haven't seen the assertion before that the U.S. was handing of information to the Egyptians. James Bamford tends to have a couple of speculations on the motivation of the Israelis in his book, "Body of Secrets". He doesn't mention this possibility as I recall. Do you have a source for this information about the U.S.-Egypt transmissions?
