Hi Maurice, There is a very informative tutorial on WiMAX (AKA: IEEE 802.16a/e \| ETSI HiperMAN). grouper.ieee.org In particular see slides numbered 29 and 46-48 which cover the PtoMP architecture (802.16a which also includes the anypoint to multipoint mesh architecture) and upcoming mobility enhancement (802.16e); the first draft of 802.16e will be completed this month...
