Walter, that is usually the sign of something very,very bad. CFO's do not quit before good earnings,as they get no credit. It is usually a sign of something seriously wrong with their finances. I think SDLI has good technology for EDFA's,as does ORTL. The competition is heating up,and those that can sell end products will win in my eyes. EDFA's are becoming a commodity business,like DRAM's. Who would you have rather owend 2 years ago,DELL or MU? I will stick with the DELLS of the world,I am betting on HLIT being the next DELL of telecom. NO one believes in them,they report very little news,but they keep on setting revenue records,have a great gross margin,earnings,and management. I could be wrong,I have been before, ORTL is a nice looking company also.UNPH might be interesting at 20-30,but not at 74 with my money.
