Not shorting gold shares ...but buying puts. Very different risk reward. Nasty time decay erodes profits. But a negative geopolitical event will result in loss of put value only, not major damage to portfolio like shorting could... Haven't done it yet - just thinking about it... ********* Recovery will come from business side & Federal government, not consumer. Recovery may be mild at first ...copper price seems stalled for right now.
