We have a very troubled economy under Bushe and it's not getting better. despite the stock market rally, which I believe is unsustainable, unemployment for young people, for instance is the worst in 55 years. Loss of manufacturing jobs is legion. States are broke. Bush is running a 500 billion deficit and sure to double by next year. The dollar has tumbled 15% since Bush took office. And energy costs are sky-high with two ex oil CEO's in office.

No one believes the "Clinton recession" spin, it5's just a buzzword from RNC central. 7 years of prosperity and balanced budgets under Clinton plus full employment, leaving Bush with a 185 billion surplus. And Bush's tax cuts do not address the problem, they make it worse. But his war on Iraq put the global economy on hold for 9 months, costing plenty.

As for the War on Terror, where are Osama, Omar, WMD's and Saddam? Why cant they find anything really important? Why did Bush shatter alliances by pressing for an unpopular warrush to war? We HOPE there be successes against terror, but that's a non-partisan issue. Any president would be fighting terror now after 9-11 especially.

But where was Bush on terror pre-9-11? After being warned about incoming hijackings on 8-5 why didn't he sound the alarm or do anything? Why did his people call off the FBI investigations into the Saudi funding mechanisms? What was Bush Sr. doing in business with Bin Laudens at Carlyle? Many many questions.
