As I recall, we redistrict every ten years. The problem is that the last redistricting was done by a judge, and he ordered the legislature to revisit his map during the last session. Unfortunately, the Dems couldn't take defeat with honor, and ran away to Ardmore (whilst still accepting pay from the state for the work they were supposed to be doing in Austin). I bet it warms the cockles of your heart to know that they will be out of a job in a couple of years. I think we should make TX a Rep. free zone. Slowly, over the next 5 years, we could move all of your brethren into the state and move what Dems. are left out. Then you can secede and make the Yellow Rose of TX your national anthem and the Alamo your congressional bldg. The state bird could be the shot gun and the state flower the AK-47. The NRA, the PRO Life group and the So. Baptist church would be the three biggest cabinet posts. You could then declare war on the Dixie Chicks. How's that, big guy?
