That's an improvement, but it's even more like a cop trying to shoot someone who he "thought" is "still" a criminal, doing it while the whole world is watching in horror, but only managing to wound him, and then having to retreat in cowardice and fear when the attempted murder victim, despite all his poverty, backwardness, and absence of good weapons, turns out to be tougher than the cop (at least in his own backyard).
