Some people view the world through the premise of America's virtue. Others don't. They blame America for the world's maladies. They believe America has no right to pro-actively defend itself from barbarous attacks on its innocent civilians. They believe America needs permission from the likes of Cameroon, Guinea, Chile, Syria, Angola, Pakistan, Bulgaria and the other seven members of the UN Security Council to use force against menacing regimes. They believe American military resources are better utilized under the direction of third world leaders on the streets of places like Liberia.

We all must decide how we view our country and what we teach our children about America's unique role in world affairs. My course of action will no doubt differ from yours.
