Not me personally, but I am beginning to think you are here to annoy people in general. I cannot find any other way to explain the insistent mudthrowing on anything and everything French, on a thread titled "Support the French".

Especially lame was the last remark that went something like "I understand why nobody congratulated Bastille Day, since it liberated some perverts". You have to be very ignorant indeed to be unaware of how historic a moment that was. I don't think that is the case. The only other option I can see is that you are deliberately trying to be obnoxious. Judging by the number of people who have you on ignore on this thread, I would say you are succeeding pretty well if that is indeed your goal.

My question was sincere - Why indeed are you doing this?

And re Eurotrash - several people asked you quite a few times to stop using that word, as it is quite an insult. You just kept on doing it, and frankly should not be surprised that everyone was so annoyed. Imagine calling an African-American nigger, repeatedly, despite him saying he does not appreciate it. AND that is a case where the term is actually correct for the context, while Eurotrash is certainly not, since the people it designates are rich and highly educated people with a taste for the fast nightlife.

You may not agree with that lifestyle. Still, it does not give you the right to call those people "trash". That is a direct insult. I don't know how to make it clearer to you that you demean yourself by insisting on it.
