You sure? I've read predictions that if he showed up on the ballot against ANY Republicans, he would take it.

He could get party line Dem support. And a HUGE chunk of Hispanic.

Feinstein on the ballot would be quite dangerous.

Much is not known about Arnold yet. That could be his problem. There could be fatal skeletons in that closet. And maybe not.

Issa and Simon are non-starters. But sure to run.

Tom Campbell would be excellent, but won't run.

And I'm undecided as to whether to vote for recall or not. The worst thing for the Dems could be Davis in office in '06.

OTOH, the economy may have recovered by then and much of the budget problem be gone. That could save them.

And Bush had better pray fervently for an economic recovery by this time next year or he's gone.
