I agree with you about the sars excuse actually.

However, I know personally that the angst in asia against the Iraq policies (or more specifically Korea) was a real drag on American business for awhile. They believed there was a good chance they were going to war, these are the CMs that some of the valley companies use I am speaking of. We couldn't get people to fly here from Asia during Iraq.
