I agree with you about the sars excuse actually.

Yup... I've been sayin this here and there for some time.

Michael Dell smirked and said "good managers manage around stuff like SARS, Dock Strikes, etc. all the time."

LRCX CEO Bagley said they were seeing higher orders and it was an excuse their competitors were using (NVLS I believe said they wre seeing SARS troubles....)

Carly Fiornia of HP said it was an excuse...

not an excuse for China Air or any airlines that fly from there to the US. Several I know that live there canceled vacations to see families in the US... but many here that lost jobs are teaching in Taiwan until the job market picks up here.
