Ameritrade allows a number of order types for any stock, however I believe they REQUIRE limit orders on pinks (if its an online order). Note this is from memory. They also have AON and various other order qualifiers.

Suggest u go to their site and browse around to answer any questions u have. Also pinks can be bought/sold online or with broker at higher cost. In either case its a flat fee for any number of shares.

Another interesting quirk is they allow qualified stocks 2.50 and up to be marginable on a sliding scale that allows full margin somewhere in the $8 range.

I got tired of waiting for the old Datek accounts to be allowed to purchase Canadian Stocks (which are handled like pinks) so I transfered the IRAs and part of the margin account that I manage to Ameritrade where I have bought/sold Canadians online with only the normal exchange rate and spread issues you can expect with these stocks.
