So you're saying India is a global economic power because Oracle and a few other companies are hiring several thousand of their Billion people?

I seem to recall getting a phone solicitation from Jamaica or somewhere the other day, but I don't think of that island as a global economic power just because someone located a call center there.

I'm being a bit harsh, but don't you think that's a small sample of their population getting these jobs?

Oh, that reminds me of another reason China can't be touched - the productivity of the women there. The history of Communism has done wonders for equality in the workplace there. Women drive cabs, work in tool and die shops, run construction equipment, do engineering, etc. They do not stay home. It increases output and consumption.
