re: I find that somewhat amusing

why? I point to the flaw in the logic of conspiracy theoreticians and you provide me with a number of those theoreticians as a proof - I find that somewhat amusing :-))
Especially considering the fact that you stand against the bias of Rabin...

re: the single source (Rabin)

I offered, few days back, to find independent sources if you agree to be open minded and your answer was what - it is not that simple to be open minded - even more amusing is not it?

re: The US gov't got a book out of it

that is not nice to misquote US government but then again :-))

re: they, actually, do / Source?

US Navy manual?

re: "war crime", remember?

sorry, I read only one and answered to the one that I read. It would be more productive for you to quote one single reliable source rather than a large number of posts that make no sense

re: They do prohibit attacking unarmed lifeboats, though.

no such stipulation as far as I know for the boats full of hostile not surrendering soldiers let alone empty boats....
If you have a reference somewhere to the actual rules rather than opinions of highly biased people I would love to see it....

for example: even most rabid opponents of Israel do not object at Israelis shooting at ambulances because ambulances became the favorite cover of attacking terrorists...
