LR: Greenspan kinda talked up rates in saying deflation not a threat.

What does it mean?

1. Market guessing at economic recovery?
2. Inflation becoming some kind of issue? CPI data today may offer a clue if this is true.
3. Competition for money flow?
3. Pressure on equities?
4. Support of the dollar due to increased yields?
5. End of refinance boom?
6. Increased debt servicing costs?
7. Slowdown in housing?
8. Initial reaction to Greenspan and nothing more? Maybe consolidation at higher yields.
