Well
it was a wee little post correcting another poster's misstep into fallacy land - it might embarrass that poster if I dragged it over here. I don't like to drag things around that might reflect negatively on other people- I've seen it done too much by others (not talking about you, just trying to be as vague as possible :-)), and I find it repellent.

But here is the fallacy:
Appeal to Ignorance (Proving a Negative): an argument that asserts a claim is true because no one can prove it is wrong; this shifts the burden of proof to the audience or opponent rather than the claimant
