sandeep,

Comparing India and China is 'kinda like' looking at a grapefruit.... and trying to decide if it's a red one or white one....?

Both countries are in the same situation.... extreme conditions of middle age societal culture with ancient systems of pragmatic dogma and a future still being formed.

In my Opinion over the next 50-100 years they will both become power centers.
China following the lead of western materialism and capitalistic excesses...., while India will create a modern society like nothing we've ever seen....!

India will evolve a society less capitalistic and tied closer to the foundations of it's spiritual center. Free itself from the lingering colonial past... and become a Great Nation which will participate to a greater extent in the world community.

China will be a sour fruit.... India a sweet one.
