McCarthy accused Adlai Stevenson of being a spy?

I said that he "went after innocent people". His attacks weren't all about spies. There were other characteristics that could cause Mr. McCarthy to take notice.

Of course, he might have opened himself up to such an accusation when he testified as a character witness for Soviet Spy Alger Hiss, don't you think?

Like I've said before, you all are scary. You could find a way to make Santa Claus look anti American.
