Lizzie, there were no good apps programmers that lost their jobs to India or China. Those that lost their jobs were just hack coders that needed to be replaced by real programmers with talent. I for one am very glad to see that we are not limiting our search for talent to the US. Whenever you remove discriminatory practices that cost you money like not hiring women, blacks or foreign nationals you end up paying less for more qualified candidates (law of supply and demand). Completion did great things for the legal profession when women were let in. Football, baseball and basketball were greatly elevated when blacks were allowed to play. Did a lot of less qualified whites lose their dreams and money because of it? You bet, but in the end the profession was elevated.
