Because they were lied to. Or haven't you noticed??? The lies are central here. There was also that truly puerile strategy of labeling those who questioned the lies as "traitors". Did the Constitution of The United States of America claim that saddam was an immediate threat???? No. shrub's cabal did. Is shrub's cabal the United States of America? No. I have to say that I was amazed and to see such transparent and facile tacics succeed in roping this country's entire governing structure into the perverse and unthinking course of action taken. Bring your children up to understand consequences, responsibilty and the qualities of true leadership. shrub and his crew have none of that training.
