I understand your concerns re skepticism on immediate economic recovery, but I am not sure I follow you re stagflation. Never said "it can't happen", by the way. I just think it is a rather rare phenomenon, a "perfect storm" if you will.

Sure thing, if and when auto companies start giving away cars with zero interest and all that.

The key here is energy (as I see it). We are definitely not seeing the drop what was expected after the iraq thingie

Agreed. Still, there is no price shock.

We will see, I guess. For now, I am not convinced re stagflation. I see the more prominent threat as popping of the credit bubble once interest rates start rising meaningfully. Then the hurt will begin...
