My fishing trip Sunday went sour. We agreed to meet at the marina where we met twice before and he winds up at the Mascoutin launch. Today I decided to check the lake out myself. Hooked up the boat and took off. It really went pretty smooth considering the gas in the boat was 3 years old. No fish but I did hook one hell of a big locust tree. I ran a lot of the old gas out and will buy another 50 gallon tankfull when the price drops again. All in all a good morning. Sun, water, really fresh air. Best of all I got to watch 2 pairs of kingfishers. Neat little birds that do catch fish.
