Cary-- I expect more from you. I have repeatedly stated that I am not an apologist for Bush. However, Runes and you stand behind the do-nothing course in the face of crimes against humanity. My contention is that the legitimate vehicle for intervention against genocide is the UN. Not the US, and not the UK, and not Spain. Zonder, Runes and you seem passive while genocide occurs. I have been the one who condemns Clinton for allowing the genocide in Rwanda, and the US for allowing Crimes in Central America. Yet you people give me bullshit about costs while the world watches Saddam murder. The human cost of condoning genocide--WHICH YOUR POSITION DOES--makes the costs of international intervention small. Remember, we cannot bring back the dead, but we can prevent future murderers by hold the current ones accountable.

The UN failed, and you guys seem to accept this.
