Is it possible they didn't and don't have a plan for Iraq because they never cared about the Iraqi people as they had professed. It's really sad, not only are the IRaqi people distressed with the US presence, our troops want to go home. They were told they'd be in and out and now they're stuck and the last I heard, rummy said they could be there four years...interesting they state these facts after they put us over there. I mean sad, not interesting. And the contracts that were awarded? yeah, it's possible bechtel and halliburton lowballed it and that's how they got them, but when they renew, they can really stick it to the taxpayers...The contracts range from 10 million, low, to 200 million high for what bechtel is doing...gosh, what a good deal, and you know it's going to run high...I think Ken Lay's been behind the scenes with Cheney telling these folks how to stick it to the American people, because we really are getting saddled with enormous debt. CAn this country survive? I don't know, but I do know Bush and company simply don't care...does that make them traitors?
