Huh? :-) HUH???? WHADDYA MEAN, HUH???? :-) Didn't you see the 1939 "The Wizard of Oz"? The guy behind the curtains pulling the levers that make the magic happen? That Dorothy, et al, weren't supposed to see? Highlighting a measure ("core inflation") that excludes such a basic cost item as energy is just too much. Actually, I never thought that was too clever. Too easy to see through. "pro-forma" earnings. Nor that. Although it certainly worked in the sense of driving stock prices for quite a while. As Barnum said, "There's one born every minute." (Probably every second these days; population is up. :-) ) No, you are getting sweet. I could get used to this :-) Can't have that. I'll go hang out with JLA for a while. :-)
