<And in this case, even after they've attacked the US "home"land, you're afraid to get out there and perform a bit of "urban renewal"..>

Who attacked the U.S. homeland? Any Iraqis? No, not a single one. Not on 9/11, not before, not since. Never. And our President can't come up with a shred of evidence, before or after the war, that Iraq posed any threat to the security of the U.S.

You can go back and read my posts on several threads, right after 9/11. I was 110% in favor of attacking the Taliban and destoying Al Queda. Still am. And that's why I'm against the war/occupation of Iraq, because that's not where the threat is. The tactics currently being used in the WarOnTerror, are counter-productive. We are losing the war on terror, creating support for our enemies, badly losing the HeartsAndMinds battle. More Moslems hate America today, than on 9/11. And our incompetent diplomacy has pushed our natural allies (France, Germany, China, India) to the sidelines of the war, leaving us with the entire burden.
