I vascillate between depression and anger. I can't believe that Bush can get away with destroying America for the sake of a handful of greedheads.

Well, I'm watching C-SPAN 2 now. Sen. Dick Durbin has the floor. He's being too polite, but he's bearing down on the WMD lies and rest of the fraud that Bush is perpetrating on the people in selling the Iraq quagmire. At least we are getting the discussion of the war we needed to have last September. About nine months too late. (Dang, now that is despressing. <g>)

Anyway, we're not going to do much but twist in the wind until September. If Bush hasn't stabilized the Iraq situation by then, he's going to be tarred and feathered, much as Blair is in Britain today:

I love seeing the viciousness of the Tory leader, Ian Duncan Smith in attacking Blair. Why can't we have a real opposition in this country?
